The Oscar HealthFlex Original uses Joyce Hygroflex foam, independently tested by RMIT, which provides more comfort and is more effective at reducing pressure sores than traditional memory foam. It offers superior airflow to diffuse body heat, avoids the sinking feeling common with memory foam, and generates less friction to help minimise the risk of pressure ulcers developing. Side walls add integrity to the mattress edge and assist with transfers, and the mattress is topped with a bamboo fabric cover with moisture-wicking technology.
